Food. Wine. Travel. Music. That's me in four words. I'm a total foodie who looks forward to culinary adventures in Los Angeles, my kitchen, and the rest of the world. I'll follow Anthony Bourdain anywhere. I love to be in constant motion but appreciate a little bit of down time. I live for live music and pretty much listen to anything, including country. Don't judge me; we all have our guilty pleasures. While I'm not into clubbing per say, I am always up for a live show anywhere - the Forum, Spaceland, wherever. If it's good music it doesn't matter where it is.
The outdoors are my playground. While I'm not a hard-core athlete, I do enjoy a good hike or cruise on my bike down to Manhattan Beach. If there's sun, I'm there! I like to be fit and active and am willing to try new things... except skydiving. That shit freaks me out.
I'm basically a goofball who wants to get the most out of life. I work as hard as I play and wish I had more time for both.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone to keep up with me. My equal in every way. The Howard Roark/Dan Auerbach/Tom Brady combo.
I'm so not into drama and am looking for someone to share the adventures in life... the thunderstorms, the wineries, Disneyland. Someone who can sing a mean karaoke song, who can hold their liquor, and who uses their turn signal on a regular basis. My man is someone who can handle a day at the beach followed by bike ride, followed by a concert. Someone who can appreciate a great glass of red wine, who can handle a girl who eats dessert, and who can talk Frank Lloyd Wright, James Bond, and Walt Whitman and not even flinch.
The last great book I read The Fountainhead. Before that The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. Before that The Devil in the White City. Before that Plainsong. I keep on going back to Kavailer and White City. I need to find new favorites.
My most humbling moment Every freaking day is a humbling moment. Every day I learn something new, meet someone new, discover some amazing fact I never knew.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Um, I know this is super cheesy but it's soooo good - the love scene in The Notebook when they finally hook up. It's pretty hot.
The celebrity I resemble the most People say Drew Barrymore or Kate Winslet. While I'm sure they are nice ladies, I am opposed to looking like either.
The best or worst lie I've ever told Damn, I know this is going to sound lame but I really can't think of one. I have not had a good reason to lie in a very, very long time. Lies are too complicated for me, even the little ones.
If I could be anywhere right now Tahiti. Because it's cold in LA and I really need some beach time... and a pina colada served in a coconut shell.
Five items I can't live without Red wine; iPod, fully loaded with my favorite albums; Sirius; Lip gloss; mascara; A pair of really comfy pants. Ok thst's six but who is counting if these are really things I can't live without?
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Paris is sexy; Marrakesch is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... Body lotion. Candles. A Turkish rug. Bedside reading. Lots of blankets and pillows. My Bob's Big Boy bank. Love it!
